Egy külföldre kihelyezett elit CIA-ügynök (Mark Wahlberg) szigorúan titkos megbízást kap: egy rendőrtisztet kell kicsempésznie az országból, aki veszélyes információk birtokában van. A küldetés során mindössze 22 mérföldet kell megtenniük a reptérig, ahol különgép várja őket indulásra készen. Az oda vezető út azonban koránt sem bizonyul simának: a taktikai egységnek korrupt rendőrökkel, profi bűnözőkkel és felfegyverzett helyiekkel is fel kell venniük a harcot, akik mind a titokzatos informátor kiiktatására törnek – bármi áron.
