Story:
Ánya, az árva kislány mostohaanyjával és mostohanővérével él együtt egy erdőszéli kunyhóban. Egy nap a mostoha kiküldi Ányát az erdőbe rőzsét gyűjteni. Itt találkozik egy kedves, idős katonával, aki éppen a királynőnek keres karácsonyfát. A katona segít Ányának a rőzse vágásában....
