1953. december 3-án mutatták be ezt a metró építéséről készült filmet. Pont akkor csináltak propagandát a metróépítésnek, amikor az 1950-ben elkezdett beruházást 10 évre leállították. A film rendezője Herskó János. A két női szereplő Bulla Elma és Horváth Teri mellett a kor csaknem összes neves férfiszínésze szerepel, Bessenyei Ferenc mellett többek között Kemény László, Pécsi Sándor, Kállai Ferenc, Sinkovits Imre, Bihari József, Szabó Sándor és még sokan mások.
