Australia is in ‘good position’ over bank contagion effect concerns

The Australian’s Chief Political Correspondent Geoff Chambers says Australian banks are in a “good position” over concerns of a contagion effect spreading to Australia from the collapse of Credit Suisse bank.

“Banks here are much more tightly regulated around stricter capital and liquidity rules, but they are highly exposed to the residential property market,” Mr Chambers told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
