Bartos Erika az elmúlt évtized elhivatott magyar gyermekkönyv írója és illusztrátora. Meséivel megnyugtató, harmonikus világot közvetít, történeteit maga illusztrálja. Verseit több zenekar is megzenésítette, klasszikus gyerekkari kórusművet is komponáltak szövegeire. Bogyó és Babóca sorozatából rajzfilm is készült, mely a rendszerváltás óta az első magyar animációs mesesorozat. Szintén a Bogyó és Babóca sorozattal kelt életre tíz éves csend után a magyar diafilmgyártás, ez volt az első diafilm, melyet digitális technikával gyártottak.
