China's 5G bases stations are mounted on rooftops, utility poles and streetlights. China's Minister of Industry, Information and Technology said at a conference in Beijing that the country's digital transformation will continue in 2023. He said China plans to build and upgrade telecommunications infrastructure for both mobile and fixed 5G services and will also increase the deployment of public and private 5G networks.
