Designer Matilda Goad charts the transformation of her London kitchen over 4 years in the second part of our renovation video series 'Evolution of a Home'. Follow her design process as she makes two rooms in to one, experiments with the layout, gets the paint colour wrong and then very right, and shows how to decorate a characterful kitchen perfect for cooking, hosting and family life.
'The Evolution of a Home with Matilda Goad' is a brand new renovation video series from House & Garden packed with ideas to copy. In 2018 House & Garden began following the renovation of the British designer and creative consultant Matilda Goad's new home. Our aim was to create a series charting the journey of a house over a period of years, to reassure people decorating their own homes that it doesn’t happen overnight. That creating a layered, interesting interior is something that happens in stages, and that those stages aren't always linear or smooth. In the first episode we followed the journey of Matilda's living room. Take a look here: https://www.houseandgarden.co.uk/video/evolution-of-a-home-episode-1-the-living-room
Tune in on Friday October 29 2021 for Episode 3: The Bedroom and Bathroom. If you can't wait until then read our story on Matilda's home: https://www.houseandgarden.co.uk/gallery/matilda-goads-house-renovation
