£10 banknotes featuring the author Jane Austen were first issued on 14 September 2017. There are two versions of the banknote in circulation. One version featuring a portrait of King Charles III and one version featuring a portrait of Her late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. The security features are the same on both versions.
