This way you'll know roughly how much cash you'll need invested today to make $1,000 every month in dividends. This is for illustration purposes only and I wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket, but you can run these numbers with any stock that pays out dividends to get an estimate of your long-term goals. Hopefully your investments continually grow in value, as well as their dividends.
