A suspect in the gruesome stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students is in custody, law enforcement sources told NBC News on Friday.
Jail records show Bryan Christopher Kohberger, 28, was being held for extradition to Idaho, where he faces a first-degree murder charge, according to the Associated Press.
Kohberger was arrested in Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania.
The Moscow Police Department will hold a news conference at 4 p.m. ET Friday to provide an update on the case.
