Three years ago, when Jodie Hazlewood bought her Victorian flat in Nottingham with her partner, Olly, it was a dark space with small rooms and low ceilings. So she set about knocking down walls, removing the false ceilings and filling the new spaces with fabrics and furniture she found while scrolling Instagram. In just six months, her new home was finished — and she had a legion of fans who had followed the renovations on her Instagram account @thehouseupstairs.
