Synopsis:
Bandi is a 51-year old sci-fi geek who lives in a small Hungarian village where he ekes out a lonely existence as a self employed electrics repairs man. He has little contact with the outside world and doesn't have any friends. As an avid collector of all things sci-fi since childhood he's surrounded by piles of astronomy books, films, magazines, old cassettes, records and an array of antique computers which clutter his home, all feeding his nerdy obsession with space and all related things .

He dreams of entering the space telecommunications ground station in a nearby village just once in his life, a wish he made when he was just 15. It is this, his fixation with the Universe, his private radio broadcasts made from a parish and a heavily guarded secret room, which form part of the mystery surrounding Bandi's odd life. The film lets us follow him one Sunday around his world of devoted science fascination, and offers an insight into the outward urge which pushes him to reach the stars in his own unique way.
