I hear more and more these days that gun insurance is a huge scam and that you won't be defended if you use a firearm in self-defense. I don't know where this misinformation is coming from (or, for that matter, it could be true as it relates to other insurance companies), but working for US Lawshield, I defend members charged with crimes in the context of self defense on a daily basis for the past 5-6 years - since the company opened in my states.
Today, I wanted to address some common misconceptions about firearm insurance, self-defense insurance, lawyer retainers, and "prepaid legal" programs.
NOTE: I do not work "for" U.S. Lawshield - I am an independent program attorney. I also cannot and do not speak on their behalf or with their permission or authorization in this video. This is a video I made of my own accord speaking for myself alone. That said, if you do want to sign up for US Lawshield and you use the code "NGGC," my range gets a small commission and you get a couple of months of coverage for free.
