On the justice front, January 2023 started out with a whimper. The month began with more revelations from the January 6 committee testimony of Cassidy Hutchinson, showing that even Trump's inner circle knew that Trump was responsible for the insurrection. Yet, the month ended with pictures of Donald Trump going out for ice cream, while many of the people he told to attack the Capitol and "stop the steal" were going to prison for following his orders.
At best, we are treading water on the justice front.
