Scott James egykor karatebajnok volt. Mára már azonban visszavonult a sportágtól és boldogan éli életét barátnőjével és prominens szüleivel. Egy napon gyökeres változás áll be az életébe. Egy brutális merénylet következtében elveszíti barátnőjét és szüleit egyaránt. Scott kénytelen a saját kezébe venni a merénylők fölötti igazságszolgáltatás végrehajtását, azok ugyanis profi nindzsa harcosok. Az ilyen harcosokat pedig csak hasonló módszerekkel lehet legyőzni mint amit ők használnak.
