It's Year 2 in the MLB The Show 23 Franchise with the Oakland Athletics. Our first year only saw the team win 56 games with the weakest roster in baseball. After an offseason to overhaul things we welcome veterans to the team that should make us more competitive. At the same time, an impressive draft class from last year should be able to develop and come close to making a major league impact. We're making progress, but how much can we expect to improve in Year 2?
The A's are the toughest team for Franchise mode in MLB The Show this year, with their weak roster, struggling farm system, and the lowest budget in baseball. The rebuild of this team won't be easy. And there aren't many future stars already on the roster. We need to scout, develop, and completely change this team to succeed in the rebuild.
