A humorral és izgalommal átszőtt film az immár klasszikusnak számító páros, Bud Spencer és Terence Hill stílusában készült. Rosco, a jóképű, munkanélküli vagány alkalomadtán hasbeszéléssel szórakoztatja önmagát és környezetét. Éppen stoppol az út mentén, amikor kis híján elgázolja egy kamion. Sürgősen felkeresi a legközelebbi kocsmát, ahol vélhetőleg a kamionos megpihent. Itt iszogat éppen Doug, a megtermett kalandor, aki nem ijed meg sem a saját árnyékától, sem egy kis verekedéstől. Nem kell sokat várni, hamarosan elcsattannak az első pofonok.
