BACK UP YOUR STUFF FRIENDS! DONT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU. If it does, id reccomend Seagate Data recovery. Truy their "free to try" software first, and if that can recover your data, you'll only have to pay 99 bucks! It's better than thousands!! It took a total of 24 days from when I sent my hard drive to Seagate to get it back to my house. total spent was 700 bucks (came with my info back to me on 4TB harddrive) I'll also mention they replaced my original 5TB hard drive because it was less than a year old!.
